| The Hidden Truth | Other/Past Devotionals | “When the spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth: for he will not speak on his own, but will speak whatever he hears, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.” (John 16:13)
Jesus said to Thomas, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life: No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).
Jesus whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him” (John 14:17).
God does not want his family to be ignorant of the future. God’s future plans are revealed in Scripture through divine revelation. Pastors and teachers are responsible for sharing the truth with clarity. When people feel open to share their stories, they receive the care they need. The stories that they share will be true and not general: therefore the guidance that they receive will be appropriate for them. People are more likely to hear the truth when they discuss their issues with other spiritual family members.
The truth can sometimes be hidden in our subconscious. The Holy Spirit will eventually uncover information that leads to an understanding of relevant truth. Many times God uses others in the family of God in this process.
